Got my trailer dropped in the hanger at the airport about 8am today.... just got a call that the plane is being delayed and it will most likely not arrive until Wednesday now. So I'm waiting on this agent to figure out what he's going to do for us. Either get a crane to come pick this stuff off, or pay for 10 trucks to sit 2 days plus hotels. We shall see how this one goes lol

You can't blame the delayed Antonov on me ....... this time, he left here and already unloaded in Everett.

Edit - Well maybe you can, he's in route back here over Denver right now. As far as I know he's the only one stateside today and I do know they were expecting to load today, return to Everett tonight then off somewhere east tomorrow. But we won't be loading today, maybe tomorrow evening or early Wednesday morning.

Well, they called and are going to find a way to pick the crate off my wagon. Prob have to call in riggers. It is only 32x6x7 but weighs 17,200# and is heavy only on 1 end. Don't know why a cargo company would not have a bigger for lift than a 13K ???

I had fun filled non trucking weekend, starting with shooting some full auto weaponry. HK G36k, UMP45, and an M4 at a charity benefit for a sick deputy sheriff. I ended it today with fishing at Sebastian Inlet with my father. No keepers but saw a few manatees and a school if big stingrays. Big fish of the day ImageUploadedByTapatalk1371495107.408600.jpg

Tomorrow I return to my trucker ways with a 12' wide up to GA. No airplanes to meet where I'm going, just a crane and a bunch of noisy soldiers and Marines.

Drove the truck over to my contractors for some needed repairs. He told me that since my Mercer inspection was due, to take it over there first so they can let us know if I had missed anything. They found a few exhaust leaks that I wasn't concerned about and a few leaking wheel seals. Then the Pete went to the KW dealer so they could check into my power issue that has been going on for months.

Then on the way home, he got a phone call that a load of fencing haden't been delivered. He drove me to the Mercer yard to grab the truck and delivered 12 miles away. The driver got his license suspended due to a citation that wasn't paid in PA. He claims no knowledge of this ticket ;)

I don't see how that driver dealt with this truck. The check engine light is on, the speedo doesn't work, AC blew just below outside temp, and the splitter wasn't working on the super 10. Drove that truck at a gross weight of about 60k like it was a 4 speed. Top speed in ninth was about 50mph. Maybe I was overlooking something, but I tried everything to get that 10 to shift. Not fun :biggrin_25512:

Got to the receiver at 3:03 and they were nice enough to tell me that stopped receiving at 3. :biggrin_2552:

So I made arrangements to leave the truck and trailer there and had the boss pick me up. He bought us some DQ and headed back to the shop. My DQ ice cream cone was yummy :)

It should have been a 2 hour work day, but I knew better. It lasted 6 hours all logged on line 1 :biggrin_25522:

I put a weigh right scale on my trailer today. Hope it works like they say it does.

Anybody have any experience with them?

Waiting to hear on my Williston load for tomorrow and we have 2 loads to SD for Thursday. Gotta love this direct freight that's close to home with shippers that understand you have to make enough going into the Dakotas to bounce home.

My Weigh Right gives me peace of mind, but anything more then 38k on my spread gets cat'd :)

It's very accurate ON LEVEL GROUND ;)

This is what I've been doing today.

Traded the old classic off. Sorry about the crappy picture I didn't get one before they pulled it in to replace a cracked radiator. It's an 08 coronado with a 550 cat, 18 Spd, and heavy rears. I'm going to run home to pull all my gear off this one then take it back. They weren't going to have parts for that one until Thursday anyway.
