It's been my experience that its cheaper to buy a 3 axle truck with longer frame and add the 4th axle. At least that's what I've been told...

I agree with Haul Hand, Anderson maintance kinda lacks..
I've seen the horrors of that first hand -
hey, guess who is not regustered for enough weight to get an overweight permit in IA?
-
I've been there. Fortunately it's an easy fix

not so easy, it will take CO 3-5 business days to process. So after d/h 300 miles to get this load I will have to run IL and across MO for a few hundred extra unpaid miles.. I hate myself right about now. If I am only overweight but not oversize do I have flags, banners or lights?
-
Really that sucks! I can get WY to change mine and fax it to me in about 2 hours. As far as I kno no signs for weight only

Ron, signs and strobes for Illinois and Iowa, for ANY permit load. No flags, as this actually makes you oversize (according to the scale guy on 80 in Illinois).
Shouldn't take but a few minutes to bump registered weight up to get an Ia permit mate. Never has taken us long anyways.

Well, i got up at 4am and headed down to NJ. To find out the product I was to load would not be in till Friday. So I got a whopping $150 TONU and am headed to Norwalk, OH for a load in the AM. Deliver same day and reload another short run. Then prob just go home

Lakeville, MN. Guess I will go sit at home and wait for freight.
