Could not have said it better
-
Let It be understood by all that TMC is the best company I never worked for. Also understand that the bad name truckers get is my entire fault.Keep the Shiny Side Up!(even though it's a imitation cover to project a false image of excellance)
-
Exactly how long did you work for TMC? Just curious. What exactly made you quit/get fired? -
Never went down that road ,My friend in fontana. What made me that way was,And what I inquired about earlier was there strict,to say the least ways.Assumed this was the"best company I worked for place" But only have found prospective employees.I can see how you got that confused and completely understand.I would apologize but I am the entire reason for the bad driver image.I better go now and put some scary looking stuff on the rig!
-
Right. So why do you have such a hardon for TMC? I've been there. Granted, only about 5 weeks (had to get home, sick child), and I had a pigdog of a trainer, but I still like that company and WILL go back when I get to the Southeast.
I just think it's a bit presumptious of you to diddity-bop your little self into this thread spewing all kinds of venom about a company you have no idea about.
If your going to spout the garbage your spouting, with the kindergarten grammer and spelling your using, please.. PLEASE try to have some tangible point to make. You know, SOMEthing that will at least give folks an idea that you have any clue about what your talking about. Some evidence or experience you have with the company, quotes from TMC drivers that you know,........
Give it a shot. It might help in making you a little more credible.TopDogg Thanks this. -
A little more credible with who or what.If you can't handle the anwser I suggest not asking(as it turns out you weren't serious anyway) Suppose all the venom spewing was the part about how strict they(TMC) used to be.Here SOMEthang 4 you,...For instace the white glove test,.....The trailer lights were special order so if a driver broke one they(the driver) would not buy one at the truckstop and the new time into the terminal the supervisor reported the damage,When trade time came the driver was held accountable for damage he never even knew existed.Of course the was before they got their fancy concrete lot and a video game lounge to entertain prospective men in black that deserve so much credit. It doesent look like they(tmc) are doing anything/anymore/anyhow
-
Boy, I really have trouble deciphering the sad attempts at english you are posting here.
So, let me see if I understand you correctly here: You feel that since they are not as "strict" as they used to be, they are not a good company? Strict about what exactly?
If a trailer light is out or broken, the driver picks one up at the truckstop, then gets reimbursed for it. Ask me how I know that FACT?
Cant figure out what that sentence fragment means, but I'll tell you this: If a driver doesnt know his trailer light is broken, he doesnt need to be driving anymore. When you sign off on your pre-trip inspection sheet as everything being ok, you are CERTIFYING that nothing is broken. If it is, and you dont record it and try to get it fixed, you ARE responsible for the damage. No excuse for NOT knowing that damage exists on your tractor or trailer. NONE.
BTW, who are these "prospective men in black" that you are referring to? I have played a few video games in the game room at Des Moines in the hotel and never once saw any "men in black" hanging around being "entertained". What credit do these so-called "men in black" deserve and why do they supposedly deserve it?
What makes you think TMC isnt doing anything anymore? What is it that they are not doing? You think they are not running? My orientation roomate has been out for the past three weeks. Yeah, I keep in touch with him and others from my orientation class. Good bunch of guys. While flatbed freight is slow, it is by no means GONE. Are you asserting that TMC is going out of business?
Your posts are a bit cryptic and confused. I'm trying to understand what your saying, but your not making it easy. -
Jarhead take a deep long breathe lol. This guy is an idoit.
to the idoit tmc is strict but it dont bother me rather have them strict on who they hire than to have someone like you work for them, you couldnt hack it maybe thats why your so troubled did you get sent home,or did you not even make a prehire letter. -
anyway my husband is getting his truck today with TMC and is very excited, had to go 2 weeks with trainer but trainer was very good & also was close. so far my husband says the have took great care of him in oriantation & training. A world of diffrence then the last company he was with MCELROY
things are finally looking good!
