Not heavy but solar powered. A horizontal stabilizer for a Boeing 747-800.

This means his permit only allows the load to be moved during the day.. Imagine hauling this a nice and having another truck or something hit that load... Talk about mess..

Buddy of mine is in Al. doing super load moves at night. 18' wide running a push pull operation.
Said it takes them just a little over 2 hours to go 59 miles.
They got 2 of them done and will do the last one tonight.
Then narrow down the trailer to 14' and go back to Oh. with it.

Some places only allow us to run during daylight hours, hence the reason the big yellow signs are called solar panels. But then there's other places where we have to run at night. I delivered the big box to the airplane and now I'm back at the plant for a wider/longer load also going to the airplane that we have to be off the road with before 5:00 am or wait till Midnight to go again. And considering that they haven't even begun to get the load ready it's not looking like we will get this one to the plane this morning but I have my fingers crossed.

Every state is different, what might be considered legal in one state is a permit load in the next. One state may require daylight then cross the state line and it's 10:00 pm to 4:00 am only then the next state is 9:00 am to 4:00 pm only and so on.

Lately I Have wanted to post some pictures But DOD, says no Pictures, But I can tell you dimensions lol sad part is the thing i looked into before i left I can not remember...
Ok On a serious side the last couple of loads were very sensitive and I literally could not even think of taking any pictures, the one good thing Permits to DOD loads well No Scale will question anything at all.. Great advantage but the downside all of the loads delivered to very tight and lousy locations inside of DC, Moving fences, poles and signs took time, not to mention all the extra people watching..
