    I worked for GHAR TRUCKING
He has only (2) Two Trucks Not like he is showing in the Web Site
    http://ghartruckingllc.com/
They send you loads over the cell. Ok
They are very Slow on getting you Fuel $$
They are very hard to get Repairs done to the TRUCK.
You are told off record to drive out side the 11 hour rule.
I gave him his truck back to him and now he is docking me for the rent on his Trailer he rented.
also tells you that you will get 35% of the Load. over (2) Two weeks no Pay check.
And you get what he thinks you are to get on you 35% of load. $1100.00X 35%= $385.00 He said $160.00
Thrucks are not in good shape. Air leak, Brakes, Tires. ect

Unless you want a repeat with your next company,I would suggest going with a larger carrie or look up their safety rating..Small companies are like what you described.I put up with real bad equipment and yes they tried to force me to run illegal many many times.Smartest thing my boss did was to fire me.

Placker1 is a disgruntled contractor who believed he was an employee. He seeks out companies and work for them for a short period of time so that he can qualify for unemployment. He does not actually want to work. He gives you that perception and then throws you for a loop. If any company out there decides to hire M P from Virginia, I would advise you not to.

Absolutely nothing was wrong with the truck. It had been serviced within a week of Placker1 receiving it; and was parked awaiting a driver. No one at this company told Placker1 to drive outside his legal hours. He is angry because he attempts to get unemployment from the State of Virginia was denied. Placker1 was paid all monies due to him and we were very accommodating to his every whim. It appears he just tried to find faults so that he could leave to get unemployment. I am absolutely sure he wrote this after he lost all his attempts at getting unemployment.

Don't believe everything you see on the Internet Pattyj, because some people are just malicious; and that is just what M P is...malicious. I noticed though that you didn't leave even though conditions weren't good for you...you were actually fired.

So it was your truck but he was an "contractor"? Contractors supply all their own tools to do the job.Your truck ,you paid him ,he IS an employee..You probably just paid in a 1099..didnt you ? Contractors can not get unemployment benefits and he should know that...NOW ghar the rest of the story please

There's ALWAYS 3 sides to every story. It's in the middle of the 2 generally. Be safe out there drivers.

I don't think it was malicious. If the OP is going to name a company and malign its owner in a public forum, then the OP should not be allowed to hide behind a veil of anonymity.

    Something doesn't add up here.
If he was driving your truck, he WAS an employee. But, I'm sure you figured out some legal way of getting around that. Kinda nice not having to pay all those "nasty" employee expenses like... Worker's comp, decent wages, and God forbid... Benefits!
Gotta keep building those profits, after all.
Here is yet another company to avoid working for at all costs.
