Think you are talking about Chataqua Lake. It is the best view on 86 I think. They have the area for a westbound, but never built it yet. You can see it is cut out through there. 86 is pretty rough out east of that and pretty much near Salamanca and the casino. Never enjoyed the rough ride though there. Seemed like my time with Roehl I ran it quite often. Been through only once since.

If it were my company that's how we'd do it. No reason to rack up any stupid preventable violations when we could be in front of this already.

 

Talk about BS! New phones SUCK now the pay stubs are avail through the website and not emailed anymore. Sure sucks for those of us who use email via smartphone.

As far as the HOS they don't give 2 ##### about your violations. Doesn't cost them anything. They do care if your fat though. Then you obviously have sleep apnia (ask the dr that's in their back pocket) now you can pay them for a cpap

 

So meh after discusing things with my FM I will be staying with Roehl for the time being. Plus also my GF put her two cents in and said i should stay unless iam getting a local job.

Plus its nice to be told i will be getting a certain run back when things pick up again.

I hate running on recap hours. I got so used to being home every weekend and reseting on the weekends. But if i want a week off i have to run a month OTR. But running 12 14 hour days really screws with your 70 quick. I only had 7 hours to play with today. I had to make a delivery plus do a pick up in that. Made it happen, deliver friday morning in cedar rapids.

 

At the Hilltop Travel Plaza outside Alma, AR off of 540 Exit 24. I think Bayle recommended this place. Its not a bad place at all. Its a dirt lot but you can get quite a few trucks in here. I got loaded in Wichita this morning and headed to Valdosta, GA for a Friday delivery.

 

I seen that pig hood ornament on a Pete in Gilroy, Ca a few months ago. I needed the laugh that day!
