Running off my recap. Did a live unload this morning at a landfill - driver assisted.
What fun that was. 40k of waste liquid in drums that I had to pallet jack to the back.
I'm too old for that.
Got done with this load with just enough time to get to the Pilot and 10 minutes left on my 70.
My next load doesn't pick up until 1700 tomorrow night, and it is around noon, so I have got quite a bit of time to kill.

I'm thinking that maybe Moose means he's separating from Houston, as in got a load and is headed out??

sitting in mira loma terminal. did the sims class and got assigned my truck. spent most of late morning and early afternoon moving my crap into truck, doing pretrips, making sure i get everything i need, and put it in shop to get couple of things fixed. had eta made for tomorrow morning at 7 am

 

got a preplan to miller brewery in irwindale going to rock springs wy. decided to go pick the load up tonite and leave in the morning. sent me to sais in fontana for a empty. went to dispatch me on load and wouldn't work since i'm still on medical leave. night dispatched called pheonix and they confirmed it. my dl said i was already cleared this morning. now i have to wait till tomorrow morning to talk to dl. load is planned for p/u from 6/16 2200 to 6/20 0815.

And now they are gone without a trace.

Nothing ominous here. Just trying to adjust my sleep schedule in case I get a load that runs me all night after I deliver my next short load at 2145 tomorrow night.

 

still sitting in mira loma. preplan was taken off me this morning. called dl and told him what happened and he said hew didn't notice the leave of absence notice. said it mite take awhile,but he messaged pheonix and now waiting to hear back from them.

 

sitting at a rest area off the 25 25miles from Colorado Springs, I deliver my load at 20:22 tonight and then have to find somewhere to park and take a 10 before I get another load since my 14 will be over

Stopped at a picnic area off the 287 last night with 3 minutes to spare on my 14 talk about close, had hardly any phone signal and no data at all so watched the rest of my walking dead episodes and out of stuff to watch again, I tried to hang out there until late so I didnt waste my 14 only having 240 miles left but it got hot so I left and headed to my stop early. I get here and its hot here too so I didnt really help myself much except for phone signal.
Guess today I wont make as much money but hopefully I get a good load tomorrow morning and I hope its not a dang 45k lb bottle load.
