well my qualcomm crapped out on me today and then i accidentally broke the screen to top it off. great day. then they dont have any at trenton. now not sure what tomorrow will hold. guess i will call brad in the morning and see what to do.

Reporting in from Richfield Wi class. Taking a 3-4 day trip to Ft Worth TX and back up to Wi... Just made it to Missouri where we got a hotel for the night. Lost one student that quit over the weekend. Still is pretty cramped in the back of the truck but we are getting by. Our instructor Chris is awesome, and we will be graduating next week. Any questions feel free to ask.

Finishing up orientation tomorrow, heading home for a couple of days and heading out with my trainer. Finally get to get out on the road.

glad to see they allow to to head home after orientation for a few before going out with your trainer. Will he just pick you up at your place or near there, or do you have to go to a terminal?

 

Donald, I am a trainer with Millis, we can pick you up at your house (if it's legal to do so and there is enough room) or at a nearby truck stop (I prefer this option).

 

They asked us at the beginning of classes when we would like to go out. There are several guys leaving today (the last day of orientation) He will probably pick me up at the Eden terminal. I live about 10 minutes from there.

Good to know. I'm looking to make the jump. Currently im waiting to hear back about a local job with a municipality, but i would like to apply and at least have an app in so i don't have all my eggs in one basket so to speak. That way if the local job falls through i will still have another option to jump on. Not sure which road to take, just do it and see where it goes or wait until after they are done with interviews and then apply. Which could be a couple months from now. which is going to put me even further behind. Eh one day at a time i guess
