Yes they are nice but you can use the manual one, lol. Disconnect the control arm and lower the arm. Pain in the butt but it will work. They gave us dump valves because of the high fifth wheels we have.

The thread where I posted Schneider trucks don't have dump valves was in a thread where a driver was considering buying an older SNI truck . I advised him some used Schneider trucks don't have dump valves . This was confirmed by a post from a Schneider driver .
If you think quoting the SNI CEO saying he needs more immigrant drivers and his driver wages are less than they were in the 80's is pointless well , that's your opinion .
I wasn't the highest paid driver . Far from it but I can earn $15,000 a year and still get full SS retirement benefits . I was collecting SS from the first of this year and just worked until I made the $15,000 . So working a few months and SS I get over $35,000 a year and my medical coverage is by the VA . No expensive health insurance .

Look I dont care how much you made or what you did. I had nothing against you but quit attacking me and quit mocking me. Dont say you didnt cause you know you did. I really dont want to fight but man your not going to attack me and spread falsehoods like you tend to do when it comes to Schneider. When somebody ask a specific question about another company I dont post like I know the answer. I have proven you wrong time and time again so just stop.

Finally, I dont control what Chris Lofgren says so what do you want from me? Should I just quit because he said something you didnt like?
Basically its like this, leave me alone and know what your posting before you claim something as fact.

Just tell me what I said that was false . The statement I made about dump valves was confirmed by 2 Schneider drivers then you admitted you have a dump valve because tank hauling tractors have a higher 5th wheel .
The statement about the CEO saying pay was lower than the 80's was true and the transcript of the hearing has been posted here . Whose making the false statements ? You were the one that claimed you were making as much as other tank drivers . I called you on that and you just said you didn't care what I made .
You say I attack you . You know I don't . I'm not by far the only one making negative comments about Schneider . They are justified . I've known Schneider drivers since they were driving International cabovers .
We're free to express our opinions . If I want to say I think Schneider is a rate cutting bottom feeder that has put safe , experienced well paid drivers like those that were at Emerson Electric out of work and replace them with bumbling CDL mill graduates that last an average of six months I'll say so .

First off I didn't admit anything. I posted a fact, with a pic, that was actually clear. Secondly, you really think I am the one spreading lies, your the one getting called out all the time. Bottom feeder huh? Okay then, your opinion.

Lastly, I know better than to feed a troll, especially an old one with nothing better to do. From now on I will just correct your mistakes okay?

Has this thread taken a turn for the worst. I had to pass on the JCP thing. My daughter is only 3 and we've never even had a night apart. I'm pretty sure she'd freak if I was suddenly gone with a trainer and then gone for 1 week at a time. It sucks, I wanna drive and miss it, but I don't think being gone is gonna work. I wish I could just be an on call or fill in trucker. You know? Light duty until she graduates high school. Why is trucking all or nothing at all? Or am I missing something?

I looked into some local jobs near me and was surprised to see that some where interested in bringing me on. I had thought that going OTR was the only way to get my CDL current with such a gap. But I just keep plugging away. Something's gonna pop. Thanks for the leads!

I was home almost every night when I was on the Penneys account in Plainfield, IN. I was out overnight Monday night, but had all day off on Wednesday. Almost every Saturday and Sunday off as well. I really loved working for Schneider on that account. But JC Penney decided to close down the Plainfield SSC... Bummer.
