Dumb rookie. Where was his trainer??????????????????????????????
And
at USless Express for not having proof of insurance on the truck.
-
People think that after 40 hours of desk training and driving 'training' that they are ready to go out on the road.
His company obviously didnt check him out to see if he was capable. I feel sorry for the guy. -
There ia a small co in TN that leases onto USX. It is swift. Not the swift you are thinking about. I think they have 5 trucks, but this is probably that co. Maybe the guy thought he was working for the other swift?

i think i know where this happen, they have had a few big truck problems there...
its a kinda new exit ramp maybe 6-8 months old, but its for CARS only, its a really tight U turn almost , made so that big trucks cant exit , but they still try
yeah no kidding where was his trainer

As a new driver, I can say this sort of thing is on my mind every turn I make! Even the ones where you vets wouldnt even think twice about it. I had to do a lot of "quick analysis" the past two days driving on all the rural roads in VT,ME, and NH. Even had the trip computer try to send me on some roads I knew weren't for trucks, thank God for the atlas!

Woah...... he didn't even know where his proof of insurance was?
That was the first thing that Swift shows their new drivers. They tell them, to make sure the insurance, and all the permits are recent before they even leave the yard for the first time by themselves to get their first loads.
Bad judgement, I am not going to judge..... as I took out a mail box once.... but that was partially because of ice. lol
But not knowing where your proof of insurance is?
How do you not know?
-
Actually though it's the driver's responsibility to make sure his proof of insurance is in the truck, not the companies.
-
If I see I can't make a turn I will not try it, because I have found out from watching the other drivers otr.....if a car can't make a turn a very large truck won't make it for sure....up to this day I am still accident free and hope i stay this way, but common sense helps alot..

No one read that one did they? Why would'nt he run over a sign, after all they brought wrecjers and wenches to rescue him. I'll bet he's happy. Where is he , I'd hire him right now and they should fire his trainer. He had his wreck, how he'll be more cautious.
