Take the whole thing off, there was a pdi block off kit for sale in the classifieds forum.
-
you said NEW truck.
are they still selling showroom models from 2007?
07 and 08 would be the last models i'd evern think about buying. along with the cummins motor. -
If dot notice it gone isn't there a big old fine for that or is it only if the epa catches you? Thought the idea was to make them think it was working ?
-
I personally don't know what the fine is nor have I heard of anyone getting one. But I can tell you it makes a big difference I drove a 06 set at 500hp 1750 and the drove it after the delete kit was installed and reflashed it was a whole different truck. Got around 3/4 to 1 mpg better to!

New to me !

people have been saying that the isx motors need the egr. otherwise the turbo will burnout more frequently then it already does.
all kinds of threads started for different motors. but not much on the isx cuz i'd do mine in a heartbeat if it didn't burn out the burbo.
$5G is a lot of money every 100,000 miles as it is. -
anyone else know if this is true?
-
That 06 I was talking about still has the pdi that was put on 2 yrs ago prally 150k on never had any problems that I know of.
-
I doubt DOT would even be able to recognize any emissions component, it's not their business.
