Just got my C15 fired up a couple hours ago.
This was my first inframe and I just wanted to thank all the folks who helped me with input and advice. I got so much information from using the "search" and asking a few questions I couldn't find answers to.
It was an MBN with about 1,002,000 miles. I did have a 7CZ file put in it a year and a half ago. The head gasket went out on #4 and #5 wasn't far behind. So, I went with a Cat Platinum in-frame kit but I built it as a 6NZ. I also swapped the cam to a 6NZ.
I had a pretty major health problem with my wife in the middle of it that set me back a few weeks, she is healing up well. A couple other small problems but it all worked out.
It sure feels good to hear the old girl rumble again!!
