Finally shut down at a rest stop off I-55 in MS after a long day. First drop at WalMart in LA and needed $50 for lumper fees. Never dealt with that before so called in and got instructions on how to set up the com check. Head to MS to pick up at Georgia Pacific and realize I don't have the correct pickup #. Called the broker line that was provided in the instructions and the lady has no idea. Says she has to call someone else, of course he doesn't answer so she leaves a message. Call back in 30 mins she says. Meanwhile it's hotter than all hell and my hours are getting dangerously low again. I call back in and get put on hold for 10 mins. Lady comes back and says whoops we forgot to add another "4" in the pickup line, our bad. Gee thanks. Finally get loaded at GP and just made it to this rest stop with 20 mins to spare on my 14. Meanwhile my 70 is nearly fried already as I've ran over 3100 miles since Monday and have 600 more to go tomorrow. Looks like a reset is in my future, which is too bad because they just keep sending me pre-plan after pre-plan. Hate to turn down miles, but no choice.

Just got informed that my fed med card is no good, because Roehl failed to let me know that I needed to take a sleep study. Had my physical back in Dec and they just now are telling me about the #### sleep study.

Blacksburg SC I85 J Shipper says pickup at midnight. So I'll drive for two days in the dark to Boston and try for layover pay as load delivers Wed pm. & I'll be there more than 24 hrs early. Less traffic, but more wildlife & a slim chance for layover $ or relay & preplan. Anyone ever collect layover pay?

I put in for it once and got it. As a matter of fact I will be putting in for it again. I shutdown about 30 mins ago about 30 miles from the cons. The part I don't like about it is that you only get $30 after 24 hrs. You have to be sitting for 36hrs to get the full $60.

At the TA in Richwood, KY. I don't deliver until 1230 tomorrow. Laundry is already in the dryer so it looks a clean inside of the truck and just relax day. With the right load I should be back in Mogadore tomorrow night.

Good start. Just checked in to the hotel. King bed at the Hilton Garden Inn. Sure beats Hammond Inn. :)
