recruiting says 1800-2400 a week. 24 hours home per 7 out. 50/50 drop vs live and pay = .45. $10 an hour detention after 4 hours and $100 after 24 hour delay/breakdown. newer trucks with power invertor some with apu. running texas, arkansas and oklahoma. qualcomm eloogs.

Is this a joke? 4 hrs detention, no pay. 24 hrs breakdown, no pay. 2 full weeks away from home and only 2 days at home.

Add up the hours you will be in the truck each month. Just go get two low paying full time jobs and sleep in your own bed each night.

Who said I worked for JBS? I was summarizing what the OP said. It sounds terrible to me. All that wasted time with no pay. Very little time at home. I am home 3.75 days for every 5 days out. Just like someone with a 8-5 job. Of course I am independent and have never been a company OTR driver. I just cannot beleive people are willing to work like that. What is the point of living when you will have no life?

People just want information, man. Not to read lectures from drivers who think they know better....just sayin....

Not a lecture, I was being sincere. I did offer advice. Skip the driving and do something else. That sounds like a terrible job.
