Hi all,
Haven't heard of this yet on here and after a quick scan on the net...can't find it out there either.
Got a message on my Quallcomm earlier this week I think on Tuesday about a Schneider driver in Dallas at their OC who got shot. He is out of surgery and is doing ok last we heard.
Apparently he was at the back of the lot and someone managed to get back there (I think through some holes in the fences they mentioned)...not sure what took place, but the driver was shot...only been with the comp for about a year, year and a half.
Schneider is going to install cameras that can be run by Green Bay, electric fencing, imrpove lighting, I think change the lot a bit in the way it is structured among other things.
Just shows to be careful even if you are in your companies Operating Center lot.

WOW that sucks. I've been to that OC, nice terminal acutually, always a lot of people there. That's too bad, glad he's gonna be okay.
I wonder if the suspect's name is JJ Skillz? lol -
See what happens when you turn down a load...

That terminal is at the Flyin J/TA hellhole exit. Even a company terminal is unsafe there. I hate to say it, but a few miles away that Pilot is nasty but safer.
-
I have never stayed in that area after dark. It didn't seem to be safe during daylight. Although the lot lizard traffic was entertaining at the J. -
HAHA! No...I don't think it was him, nobody heard any praying beforehand "Please Jesus, Oh Jesus"....plus that and he didnt study on how to shoot the gun.

Is that the place in Lancaster off of I-20, I think it is exit 472. I stayed there one time and it was pretty rough. It had a few lizards and crackheads running around the parking lot.

YEah but the truck stops are on the other side of the freeway. Not saying the neighborhood is good but when I was at this Schneider terminal it seems the safest spot to be in the area. Surrounded by high chain link with barbed wire and fronted by the fueling stations and gates.

Has anyone here seen the Schneider terminal in Atlanta? Its near the Kroger grocery WHouse and the Pilot on the Southeast side. That terminal has a HEAVY DUTY electric fence around it! Seriously, that terminal looks like a concentration camp!
