Glass students start at .40 and then you'll have a raise at 3 months and then again at 6 months. Last I heard it was to .43 then to .46 but the raise part may have changed. I do know they're still starting students in glass at .40 though, unless it changed within the last two weeks.Asiansmurf Thanks this.

First impressions can be deceiving! Everyone in the class is top notch and are going to be awesome instructors!

Jim.
First I would like to say thanks for you informative thread.
I have had my CDL for a while now but have no OTR experience. While trying to come up with the best company for me I came across this thread. I was looking for a flatbed company that pays well, trains their students to the best of their ability and gets drivers home on most weekends. After reading your posts from the beginning I believe Maverick is the company of choice for me.
I do have a few questions however. I live right off I44 in Union Missouri, its about 40 miles west of St. Louis. How often does drivers come up 44 and do you see a problem with home time. Do you deliver a lot in St. Louis? I know there is a terminal in Madison IL. I used to work near there and would drive past it almost every day. Also I currently have a real estate project going on so I could not commit to orientation until it is complete. Would Mav. have a problem with me filling out application today and than going to orientation as soon as I am done? I want to be able to focus 100% without any other distractions.
Also being that you are the person that I would give credit for basically recruiting me, What is your name so I can put you down for a referral. I remember you putting it in one of your posts but I did not think to wright it down than. I'm sure you wouldn't mind a few extra buck$. lol
Thanks, Josh
