Go with Raider Express. They seemed to be a good place the short time I was with them. There "over the road training pay" was so small I had to quite, 10¢ a mile while training! But try them they are in Fort Worth, TX

 

I would look at Prime Inc. and go with either flatbed or tanker training. The training pay is $600.00 a week.
After one year, if you're not content there, you will be well qualified for Melton Truck Lines, System Transport, Schneider(bulk division) and many other tanker companies. Check these companies websites and see if that's a goal you would be interested in. Melton has a terminal in Dallas & System has one in Laredo, so you would be through DFW regularly. Not sure where Schneider bulk terminals are.

 

Does Raider Express have a CDL school? If so, any details?

 

Yes they do. If you have a CDL already you will have a 1 week training course if no CDL it's like a 4 week class. The classes are done right there in the Raider's lot.
