Maverick Driver general bs thread

Saturday deliveries don't get weekend pay...at least not for special ed division.

I do a lot of Saturday deliveries.

 

I've gotten weekend pay for both Saturday and Sunday deliveries. As far as I understand it, the load must deliver on the weekend BEFORE 1000 CST Monday morning, and you must have run less than 800 miles to get paid for it. But I have heard some drivers say they had to remind their FM to put it in. The three times I've gotten it, I never had to ask.

 

I wonder if thats the same guy that from cre that tryed to park in the parking deck?

 

Unless, Maverick changed the weekend policy since I worked there, you aren't guaranteed home weekends. They try to get you home every weekend, but not a guarantee.

 

That is still the policy. My FM does a good job getting me home but sometimes is just not in the cards.

When I worked there, I kept a notebook of every time I got hung out. I wrote down the Pro#, date and how many times before I had been hung out. If it got to be a routine, I would ask my FM about it. I can think of three different occasions; that it happened on, but it wasn't a regular thing. I had Lance Ware as my FM after Laura Scott left and for the most part he got me home. If I didn't get home, he made sure I was home either on a Thursday or early Friday morning of the following week.
