Where can I get a good blue tooth device for my husband? Husband already tried Pilot and it didn't work with his phone. I can't really find anything on Amazon and don't have a Paypal account so I can't do eBay and I don't trust Craigslist. Are there any good website's to order trucker gear that don't require Paypal and won't cost an arm and a leg?

Bluetooth is bluetooth. I'd think it would be rare that you'd find a Bluetooth device that wouldn't work or pair. I assume he has a relatively new phone? All truckstops sell all the same products for the most part, but they all work for the most part, too. Although ask 10 different drivers which is best you'll get 10 different answers.

If hubby doesn't have a beard, search online for a Jawbone. They work well. Even the older ones have good sound and can be found in the $20-30 range.

Like Stexan said. A Bluetooth is the same no matter where you get it from. I have never had trouble with the ones I got from pilot.

First off, make sure your husband's phone is capable of Bluetooth connections (most are these days). check with his wireless carrier's website and get the details on his phone; you might even get a user manual for the phone if you're lucky; that might help him set it up.

I've heard some good things about a BlueParrot brand device (don't recall the model #), available at many truckstops for around $100. The one I'm thinking of has a (reported) range of about 60 feet, theoretically good enough to leave the phone in the cab and walk around the trailer while wearing the headset. click http://www.thetruckersreport.com/truckingindustryforum/electronic-connection/ to go to the subforum here and look around there for some advice.

Plantronics voyager for clarity both on his and your end, but only about a 6 hour battery life. It is available at wal mart and best buy as well as most truck stops

Radio Shack, Sprint store, WalMart ect ect ect. I have a small Plantronics ML20, cost $30 from radio shack. But thats just me. Some people have to have the biggest most costly unit out there.

I use a dual headset, you can buy in a TS for $100 or more or online for 30 bucks, stays charged for several days and you can hear I have never had a problem ordering from cellphoneshop.net
