Running With Schneider!

So I decided to go with schneider, In these past few weeks my head was spinning trying to decide what company to offer my services. I will be honest I TOSSED a freaking coin to make this decision, based on all the information that I collected from various people from the two companies. Sni and Landstar have their ups and downs but for for me, either one would have worked fine. Of course only time will tell if I made the right call. Today was my second day in orientation at the Charlotte OC. I drove my truck from Laredo, TX and the shop passed the inspection just fine, only a brake adjustment and a small exahust leak was repaired, decals and satellite are on and she is ready to roll. Inside at orientation was just the usual, satey classes, logging, road test, lease paperwork, computer training, etc.

 

I have been looking around and maybe I missed it, but what does Schneider pay while with a trainer?

 

I think its 80 a day.

 

yep.....every day of training is $80

 

Do you get mileage while you are with a trainer or just the $80?

 

Can someone give me an idea of what internet usuage to get for running around the country and still be connected? I currently have ATT smartphone and want to get a hotspot.
Is a hotspot the answer? Aslo not sure what an air-card is......or is that what I need....

any help would be appreciated as I am going on choice as of the end of August....

I use FoxFi on my android.....free, but movies and stuff will go against your data plan. I mostly use it for internet and e-mail access for my laptop
