Garmin 465t

Couple of things... check the settings for your height, that may he why it is routing you on and off. I pull trailers that are mostly 13'6" bit have an occasional 13'7" one. My Rand McNally will route me around 13'6" clearances if I do not change it back.

As for NYC... get a truck route map, you can get them free from the NY DOT... a lot of those bridges that say 12'8" or so are actually higher. I take 13'6" trailers in there.

 

I had the 465t for a week. Sold it to a friend of mine when i passed him at truckstop. I went in and bought the pcmiler 450 and love it. My friend cusses me everyday because the 465 constantly tries to put him on restricted routes.
