Finally got my new ride picked up and headed home. It's a nice truck for sure but it's a hair on the heavy side kinda like me.
Where is everyone #2!!

Adam and I were supposed to have breakfast but the agent's customer for my Florida load wanted me there ASAP this morning. I'm loading tent floors at the Bonnaroo music festival. Yay me. Terrible load but I'll forget all about it next week at the condo on the beach.

Here's a better picture of the new ride.
truckon, Logan76, volvodriver01 and 4 others Thank this. -
Nice, that looks a lot like the one I almost bought last year with a 625 cat, but it's fenders were silver.

It's a decent truck. It's #### sure quieter than my old classic and rides better. It's a little low geared but I'm just going to have to learn how to drive slower.

Winslow,Az.
Loaded my combine Monday AM in Omaha, delivered lunch time today in Buckeye, Az.
Reloaded right after that in Mesa, with a V16 Cat motor....with a connecting rod that wanted to see daylight via the block! Heading to Cat in Corinth,Ms. After that.....dunno.
Normally home on all holidays, but with all the time off lately, may try to grab a legal load to run over the 4th. Got to be home on the 12th for an immigration lawyer visit, then on the 15th I do my test and interview for my citizenship! Ha, wont be able to get rid of me after that....
Martindannythetrucker and fortycalglock Thank this. -
Sioux Falls, SD at the J. Headed into SD then to NM.
I killed 4 straps today. The air was catching them and rubbing just a little bit on these walkways I was hauling. Couldn't put a twist in them because they would have rubbed all the time.
Does anyone make a strap protector that will wrap around the strap?
Also, does anyone know how much Mercer gives for trading in old straps? I'm hoping for 50%

Home after d/h from SLC. That place blows big time

If you have something rubbing and you can get it tight against I usually take carpet and wrap the strap with it then zip tie the carpet to the strap
