HazMat Endorsement processing time?????

    I went to the DMV office this morning and received my new Class A License after completing truck driving school. Took & passed my doubles/triples, tank & hazmat endorsement test's. Now I know your hazmat endorsement has to be processed and that takes time. But how long? A couple sources say 30 days and the lady at the dmv office said 30-90 days!!!! I wanted to apply to several ltl companies but didn't because they require the hazmat endorsement and even though I passed the test it's not on my license because it hasn't been approved yet. DMV said when it is approved I will get a new license mailed to me reflecting the hazmat endorsement. I certainly don't want to lie on my application because technically I don't have it yet. Somewhat frustrating. Anyone have input on how long it took for there's to come. I live in south florida.

    Just my personal experience, but I received mine in approximately 2 weeks. It varies though from what I hear.

    I had mine in hand after 2 weeks but they had said up to 8 weeks.

    Yeah the web site even says 30-90 days but I had mine clear in 4 business days and had the form in hand in about 10 days.

    Now a days DMV is notified the moment you clear but your paperwork takes time to come in the mail.

    I did mine on-line and paid on-line while I was on the road. I came home on a Friday afternoon and did my fingerprints. Wednesday afternoon I stopped by DMV to register my car and DMV said I was cleared by TSA.
