    Maybe the guy owed him a favor and he's getting it done for cost of supplies...

    Or maybe he's just as dumb as me and spends all his money on his truck... lol

    My friends think I'm nuts for building this truck, but you only live once!! Hammer Down!!

    I'm so lucky to have good friends with truck shops and paint shops. I have done 95% of the work on this truck myself. We all know how much it would cost to have a truck like this built by a shop. There is no way I could afford all that labor at $100.00 a hour. I probably have just over 400 hours in the truck now.

    Looking real good with some color on it!!

    One question...how did you mount the deck plate on the frame to allow the frame to flex/twist? It may not be much of an issue with a race car trailer, not a huge amount of weight.

    I used a deck plate mounting kit and welded the 3/8" bolts to the bottom of the 10ga steel plate and clamped it to the frame rail underneath.
