Anybody running one? Price if you don't mind me asking and are you seeing an improvement in power and fuel milage? Thinking about putting one on our trucks but want some input from drivers not a magazine. I know there is a major benefit of removing the air just to keep air bubbles out of the injector nozzles and keeping the injector from going out prematurely.
Also what are your average filter change intervals believe they said 25k much better than every service like I do now. Also difficulty of install if you did it yourself doesn't look too terribly hard just basic hand tools but I would like to know before tackling the job myself.
Thanks!

I have an air dog and like it. fuel/water filter from air dog is reuseable just clean it and reinstall. fuel filter change about 20000 miles or when red light starts to flash on monitor. it isn't hard to install. just follow instructions. one word of advise, the return line from air dog, don't tee into return line from engine. run the line to the tanks.
-
oh, and about $800 it was on sale.
-
And why not tee it into the return line?

I have one, installed last year. I like it and think it inproves starting. If it helps fuel economy, it's so min. I can't see it.
Filters are very expensive and only available from their dealers. Thinking around $50 each.
Not sure how superhauler cleans his vs. replace. I like to check more into that.
I usually get 30-40K on filter changes.
I found very easy to install, just took a few hours. -
fs 1000 for the fuel/water filter and 551724 napa for the fuel filter will replace them. the old boy that invented the airdog chewed my butt out for throwing away the airdog fuel/water filter when I talked to him. he said to just clean it out with clean fuel and reinstall it. there is some other filter part numbers I have in my book, but I cant get to it right now. call airdog and they can give you a list of filter numbers that can be used.Last edited: Jun 7, 2013

there is a chance it may cause to much back pressure coming out of engine. I had mine tee'd at first and changed it and it seems to work a little better.
-
to tell ya how impressed I am with airdog. I started to have fuel seep from under the gear box pump. called air dog and Jerome sent me a new gearbox and motor with O-rings free of charge without even asking.

Flightline, if you have a moment please contact me as I would like to review the time frame you purchased and or installed our system. Depending upon that date it is possible you do not have the latest modification. Also, I am not sure if you are aware that our fuel filters are 34.95. (hopefully this is useful information)

I needed some filters and purchased thru one of your dealers out of Indy and had to pay over $50 each filter. I'll know next time to get them directly from you Jeremy.
Also been thinking about the filter minder. Any upgrades on that system with an actual guage?
I've got a fuel pressure guage but thinking of putting a fuel vac guage before the filters.
