...requires real skill to undo. And why is it that sometimes I can't tell my brain to shut up and follow my instinct?

I managed to find my way into an employee parking lot rather than shipping/receiving. My brain kept saying, "No, I really think this is it." Even though my gut was saying, "NO WAY, JOSE! Don't you dare go in there!" Suddenly I'm surrounded by parked cars.

I kept cool though. I GOAL'd, walked around a bit and plotted my course. Then ran the craziest obstacle course I could imagine. And I did it with the skill of a real PRO (if I do say so myself).

Lots of fun learning experiences this week!

Did I mention TWO different tornado events? One in Iowa and one in Indiana. And I mean bona fide National Weather Service alert broadcast over the radio tornadoes. I'll be glad to be home tomorrow.

Yeah, it has probably happened to everyone in their early times. I wish I could show you the pickle that I got myself into in Pittsburgh the first time I went into there LOL! I laugh about it now, but I was sweating large caliber bullets at the time. I ended up having to walk about 3 blocks to find a police cruiser and have him assist me out of this jam. On a one way (no trucks) up an impossible hill- OR- back out into a very busy intersection. Had extended on the phone with me the whole time- they were trying real hard to help by google earth-ing where I was to see if they could help me out of that one, but I saw the police and went to have them help me out. I felt about as big as a flea let me tell ya LOL! Sarge probably hasn't even heard this one LOL!!! (It was like my 4th week driving solo)

Happens to me quite often. If you've seen one parking lot, you've seen them all.

I had to call 911 for help once when I was trapped in a residential neighborhood less than a mile from the TA in Baltimore. I knew it was close by, but I was sitting on a no truck street and had 3 options from which to choose, all no truck routes.

So I called 911 and asked for help on which way was BEST. The lady asked me if I was in one of the big box delivery trucks and I said "No ma'am, I am in a full size semi truck with a 53 ft trailer."

She responded with "Oh my God!" and a moment of silence. Now, I'm reasonably sure it is never good if you manage to make a Baltimore 911 dispatcher actually scream God's name, so I was definitely nervous at this point.

She simply said she was sending an officer, who arrived and blocked traffic for me while I turned left and jumped a VERY large concrete divider. And after a rounded a sharp curve about 1/2 a mile ahead, there was the TA on my left. Go figure.

    Got a story for Yall
I was running team pulling wiggle wagons. I was heavily drooling on my pillow when the curtain opens and driver wakes me and needs help. All I see is a 4 ft x 8 ft ROAD CLOSED sign in front of me. Yup he passed 2 other road closed signs then stopped at the last one.
I said "break em down". Disassemble then rehook a setof pups.

Ahhh the joy of running team !

all I can say is when in doubt get out. I will put the for ways on and go take a walk to see what I am getting to. It is easier to walk in and walk out then to drive in and back out.
