Banning Scale House Hours of Inspection

    hey...just do what i did last time i came thru there over gross...84 thousand something...LOL load of avacadoes .( the driver that loaded it, didnt scale it..then brought it to the yard and dropped it (bout 240 miles from shipper) ....closest scale to weigh out was another 250ish miles after we picked it up...so we ran with it.......

    got to banning......kept on truckin....:biggrin_25524:....

    no i really dont recommend this.....altho it is really what happened...LOL

    Anyone there can inspect you at anytime and they can spot a bad tire from inside, get it fixed or hide it on the inside back.

    scales don't have separate hours, is 7 days 24 hours , but they are open various hours to keep drivers from guessing .

    I was riding with a friend that did that too. We ducked off the next exit and killed the lights just as the red and blues came by looking for us.

    Thats why they have windows, so they can look outside at the trucks going across the scales and SEE things like bad tires, lights out, etc.

    You madam have more balls than I do. I passed the open scale just east of Sturgis on a brain fart. I seen the open sign and next thing I knew I turned my head in time to the exit go by. Got escorted back. Had to pay $175 before I could leave the scale. Gave them my credit card, then they asked me if the $8 fee was ok to charge as well. Looked him in the eye and asked " do I really have a choice?"
