don't know anything about Fleetwood other than they're in the Lufkin/Diboll area, but good luck with them.

Wood chips ? With a walking floor ?
-
I don't think its a walking floor they raise the trailer in the air to unload it that's about as much as I know about it rt now
-
and yes its wood chips!
-
well let me tell yall that hauling chips don't pay shiddooby only make $48.00 for a 2 and half hour haul ummm no thank you!!
-
yea i wished i would have seen this 3 weeks ago i could have saved you allot of problems, fleetwood is low low pay and hauling chips here in east texas is a joke.

I was with Fleetwood for almost a year. Started off in Vans which W. Monroe, LA is now dealing with all Company and O/O in that division and Diboll National Board "WAS" strictly dealing with flatbed operations. Unless they have made some significant changes, don't expect to stay married with these guys too long. DO NOT let them talk you into going in any of these Divisions out of Diboll, if you are pulling wood chips, HAVE YOUR OWN EQUIPMENT you will make more money versus pulling their trailers.
Not saying any names but this gentleman that works in operations will sell you empty promises, and make a nightmare seem nice and pretty. If I would have saw this post earlier as well, I would have made other suggestions too but if you are already leased on with them, get ready to tell a few folks off. If you make it and plan on stay, GET YOUR OWN TRAILER!! -
I guess I'll put an update on this outfit. I signed on as an O/O moving trailers from a chip mill to a paper mill about 25 miles away, which isn't bad. Now, they don't pay the O/O for 3 weeks. You use their fuel which gets taken out of your check as expected. The office tells you one thing and the field boss tells you a totally different story. Nobody can give you an idea what you will make, even a guess. I'm glad I picked up on it when I did or I'd be way in debt. You have to have some money saved up to start working there. I don't recommend this company to lease on at all.
pusherman Thanks this.
