Is it just me or does UPS Freight SUCK?!??!?

I laugh at guys that complain how horrible the company is they work for, then when I ask, "if it's so bad, why do you work there?" , they say, "I don't want to give the company the satisfaction of seeing me leave." If the company is so bad, they wouldn't care one way or another if you leave or not.

 

Yeah guys, if you don't like your job at UPSF, go work somewhere else, like Swift. Then you get to pull USPF, Conway and FedEx for way less pay! If I were the UPSF guys I'd be more angry about them subbing out their freight to bottom feeders.

 

I like the Teamsters as I used to work casual with them off and on for years when I was not working at my trade in construction (also union) but when it comes to dealing with a package company, I use FedEx. UPS always leaves my packages out in the yard since they are pushed too hard to take the time to simply open a screen door and leave them on the porch. When you do happen to meet them at the door, the employees don't have a personality, they don't have the time to say hello. In other words, it's like most union companies, only worse than most, they get paid more so they have to work a whole lot faster.
