It would depend on who you ask. I for one do not hate women drivers and admire them as they face many challenges compared to men.
KHShyne_E_Star Thanks this. -
I pull mostly out of the N.E. to Cali and back again and only hire drivers with 5 years or more experience. I do prefer to hire woman drivers as the insurance companies say woman driver get into less accidents then men drivers per 1,000 drivers.

KH......Thats right!
I will be happy to meet the men who are helpful instead of hurtful

The freedom of it all. I'm rarely ever in one place more than a day or two. I was just in denver doing a 34 hour reset, and was visiting an old friend. It was a great time.
I love OTR and challenger is right, it takes a special kind of person to do this gig. I've been told you either love the road or you hate it, there is no in between. I'm single with no children so being home isn't much of an issue for me.
The other part is, while I know I have a boss, at the end of the day I never hear from them. Me and my DM have a great relationship and unless I'm running behind schedule we rarely talk other than setting up loads for the week. I'm usually preset through the weekend, which sometimes is one long load or several short ones. Either way I run 2800-3200 miles consistently and am having the time if my life out here.
I would try to steer you towards central, but if they already said no you will need to wait out however long it takes before whatever it was on your record falls off. Best of luck to you.

A couple things: Stay focused during training do not lease a truck. I repeat do not lease a truck; stay company. CR England will tell you that you will make more money etc.. That's false. I have been researching this industry since 08 and CR England ranks up there as trying to scam people into leasing only to them fail. Ask any person on here and they will agree with this post. Were not trying to scare you, were just trying to prepare you for whats to come.

It shouldn't matter as long as you drive safe and polite. Turn signals a must
