Worked for napa from 7/11 to 4/12. although they have a lot of newer trucks its a crap shoot if u get one. more than likely you'll get whatever the last driver that quit was driving. my mileage was horrible when I worked there. im sitting with another ex napa driver right now and were trying to decide on the best way to describe this company. the ability to make decent money is there although you will have to put up with poorly maintained trucks and abusive office personnel. if u like to fight and argue about getting home on time or at all then this is the company for you. you will do a lot of water loads from pa going to walmart and Hershey chocolate as well as white wave in Va. if you require anything else let me know. by the way I used to drive truck 748 which is on their website and im not afraid to identify myself should they see this post.

I scored a job where I live in ny with the highway department. real good benefits and a state pension. pay isn't great but I drive partime for Hogan on their supervalue account out of coxsackie ny. also have 2 lawns I mow weekly for cash so im busy but home every night weekends off. my medical cost is like $55 every 2 weeks for full coverage and the state pension will be nice when I retire.

Misunderstood? U new there and demanding a new truck? I would say Bye to u also.

When I started there they gave me a freightliner 5 years past being scraped and I told them they had 2 weeks to get me a newer truck or I was gone. they needed drivers so I ended up with a 2011 Volvo. there were other guys that said they wanted a newer truck right out of orientation and got them. understand that napa had/has some old trucks that are old and rugged so don't be so quick to judge if you haven't seen the trucks. most drivers with any experience would have walked home rather than take the beat up truck and I personally took 2 guys home from orientation because they refused the trucks. can't blame them at all.
