    It would help if everyone fully understood WHAT the law meant and then you could help decide if it would be of any use.


    And yes, I do believe that our government is now well past the point of being more than just over-reaching its authority. And it is little about the HOS.

    Everyone needs to spread the word. Its time to strike. Its time to show those people in Washington that they cant keep on taking and taking. When are they going to be finished? Ever? I think cameras in trucks should be illegal too. That's one of the stupidest things Ive heard. NOBODY has a right to film someone like that, that's invasion of privacy. Idk if its someone elses equipment or not, that truck is MY home during my time on the road, its MY privacy. Why on earth are we putting up with all this ########? What is wrong with us? Cant everyone see? Are we drivers actually going to bow down to this? I need help with this movement. We need to stand up for each other. We need to spread the word. If we all band together, like the family of drivers we are, then we can actually accomplish something. Everyone should be putting this stuff on their fb pages, twitters, or whatever else you have. Talk about it on the cb's. Just get the word out there about this page, this thread. It will be a hard fight, but worth it. Hell, copy and paste this message if you want. I dont mind. My name is Steve Beavers. I dont care who knows. Its just time we organize, time for us to do something to help out this country, our freedoms.

    you may be upset, and I may be upset,but most drivers are very docile when it comes to their jobs, the industry has beat all of the testosterone out of drivers, they are happy just to have a job

    so they stop at walmart, get a new pair of high heel shoes, a new wig, and some vaseline and they bend over and they are happy

    And especially don't mention that the Teamsters have fought to eliminate the restart and limit driving hours back to 10 since the HOS changed . Don't mention Teamsters paid over $2 million to key Democrats in 2008 and it was their favorite politician in their pocket Frank Lautenberg that demanded a "review "of HOS .
    Excuse me for being rude and using the P and U words . Too many people are ignorant and blame Ferro . She had to appease Lautenberg to get the job .

    I am no fan of the teamsters as they have evolved into today

    that doesnt negate the fact that drivers need a unified body to speak for them and collective bargaining

    call it what you will, but the problem is that we are not even thinking along those lines
