I just put another EU3000is on the new truck. All of them are now CARB approved. Only difference I can see is the gas cap now has a chain on it to secure it to the generator when fueling up!

Will be putting a rooftop ac with a shroud painted to match the truck on it when I get the chance, currently using a portable unit though. Wired the inverter to the batteries, then a battery charger to the inverter power leads.
Things to do are, fit the remote start/stop for the generator to be able to control it from inside, make a door for the generator cover, fit the drawer slides to the generator tray, and the rooftop ac.
    inverter etc.jpg

New one seems more efficient than the last 3000 I had. 3.25 gallons to run from @10am yesterday to @9am this morning, battery charger and ac on all the time. The EU3000is has a 3.6 gallon tank, so no top off needed during that time.

Pardon my ignorance but what is the purpose of the battery charger back to the inverter for?

Battery charger is wired to the inverter instead of running more wires to the batteries. Inverter is wired directly to the batteries, so the charger works perfectly. Inverter turned off when batteries are being charged obviously.

Colorado, thanks! Got a killer deal on it, as it's actually a 2009 that never got registered! Thus has full factory warranty etc too, and I saved @$50k.
