True, leasing is NOT an option for me right now.........Wallace, are u really a rookie cuz u seem to know things like a trucker
-
yeah imma rookie. i just be reading info about differn't companies

I started out with CR England myself in 2005, my only problem with them was a jerk dispatcher and I was stupid enough to lease with no experience. Just stay company and you should be fine. I have also driven for trans am, swift, prime and CTI. I am currently going with stevens being I have been out for a year and a half deciding to give college a try. It definitely is what you make of it, all companies have their ups and downs. I definitely recommend not leasing or going O/O til you got some years under your belt. I was lucky to have an excellent trainer at England, he even offered me a team spot with being he liked my driving skills but I didn't want to pull doubles. Anyway, good luck to you new guys.

thank you marky.....i did apply at 2 other companies, so waiting to hear word back from them, i will expose who they are when i hear word back and ask background about them through the veterans. but if all else fails, im going for orientation on the 29th. I dont have any DUIs, no accidents, nothing like that, only my license was suspended for 9 years and barely reinstated my regular class c in 2011, because of this stupid mistake i did, it put 2 points on my record but they erase in feb 4 2014, so this is my barrier right now.
Marky84 Thanks this. -
Good luck to both of you. I drove for Knight for 3 years and 8 months on the dry side. It is a ok company for people looking to get into the industry. The reefer side does seem to handle things better than the dry side. I have talked to many on the reefer side and they get worked and payed a little different than the dry side. Werner.....well you take your chances honestly. Either way with what ever you pick, as already stated, it is what YOU make of it. Take your time and don't let them rush you. Get your experience then put out your feelers for something better or what may fit you better.
Marky84 and Shyne_E_Star Thank this. -
@drozzer69.... Thank you for the luck. What about US Express, arent they based out of texas?
