I'm about 45 min. from SNI terminal in Dallas Tx.,and 20 min. from the new Millis Transfer yard in Burleson,TX.
Also not too far from FFE terminal, but have heard alot of bad things on them.I was considering them at first.

I think that is awesome that the school would offer you a 40-hour refresher for free! That tells me something about your school, they care about their students. I say take the school up on their offer and when you're done with the 40-hours ask if you're good enough to pass a road test at a company. If they say no, pay them for an extra 40 hours. When you can pass a road test head over to Schneider and start working. If it doesn't work for you, you can always go to Millis but that offer doesn't work the other way around.

He's right. Since you've been out of a truck so long, you would be required to go through their entire course. Since you have a CDL, no point in paying for it twice.

I have NO opinion on Millis--since I do not know about them--except what I have seen of their drivers--BUT that would be unfair--as for Pumkin--I can talk for that--I personally know of 5 people that went thru the entire shootin match there--none had ever even been in a truck before--and they all stayed at least 3 years one stayed 5 and one 7--and each of them have VERY good jobs now--they all talk very highly of the training--although tedious and took awhile to make real money--but things worked out very well for them--and I will add this--I am a very ol skool--PITA--the kind most of you may not be too fond of(course ya dont know me--LMAO)and honestly--I would personally sleep behind any one of these folks--which for what it is worth--means ALOT coming from me--cause aint many Id say that about
    Just my $.02
