Will it cool the whole cab or do you have to section off sleeper from cab?

 

5000 Btu is enough for the whole cabin.

 

So Igor, are you drawing fresh air from inside the cab? That would certainly increase efficiency.

 

yes, air intakes and circulated inside the whole cab, but the ac works non stop and uses 450 watt from 2000watt generator.

 

How is the cool air being pulled into the cab since the system is lower IE gravity doesn't cool air drop and warm air rise?

 

it was a problem but I used the 4 in. In-Line Duct Fan similar to this:

 

I found in Texas last summer that my 13,500btu rooftop ac unit just managed to keep the interior at70 degrees, so I wouldn't go with anything less myself.

The Yamaha EF2400iSHC - Looks like it uses gasoline??? (she's a four stroke)

 

during day I put up window shades and use a box fan using a 5k btu a/c. FL or Tx this has always worked for me.
