Omg, I am seriously about to quit. Ive been waiting an hour for a PO for a washout, have to replace another dryrotted trailer tire on the verge of blowing and once again I dont have a dispatcher. Dunno what happened, but shes not with TransAm anymore. I give up.

 

^^^ Yep .....husband is angry with them too. Fifty percent of the trailers he has been assigned have had problems. He tried for 4 hours last night sending messages and trying to call and never got a reply that made any sense.

Pete, do you have the super secret phone number or something? Never could get anyone on the phone last night ....just got a silly message, probably from the same dim wit you dealt with. Husband finally gave up and took care of it himself, he did get an apology for it this morning. Guess that makes everything hunky dory. The new guy was working dispatch last night and they have another new one that they are training during the day.

 

At least you get to deal with Olathe dispatch, Pete! Ive got the peanut gallery in Rockwall. Because it took over an hour to get a PO for a washout and then had to replace a tire, I didnt have enough time left on my 14 to get reefer fuel, get to Sunny D in Sherman, drop and hoo and find safe parking without incurring a log violation so I am stuck here at the Loves in Mt Vernon overnight. Load should have been picked up at 2pm today. I cant even make on-time delivery. It delivers at 8am on Friday at Walmart in Loveland, CO. Though I might actually have talked them into giving me $20 a trailer to repair since I have had downtime with every single trailer Ive hooked in the past month except for one newer 2012 trailer I pulled out of Olathr before deadheading home. $20 is chump change, but its better than nothing. And I was mostly complaining when I said it, I didnt expect them to take me seriously. X___X

 

Don't give up!!! It will get better.
