I love the night shift. Unfortunately my current company only runs during the day with the exception of tomato season and hauling coconut oil. I'm hoping to work my way into the coconut oil gig so I can go back to nights.

Just make sure that you watch the deer in the posted area's, side roads, country roads etc. You don't need to hit a deer that hard to tare up the hood on a Cascadia

Nights are good if you have your sleep right. If your not well rested then it is not much fun at all with the limited visibility, headlight glare and possibility of rain. Make sure you have good windshield wippers. As for teaming, that's not for me.

I am just getting into trucking and I hope I can pick when I drive. I am not going to be on a team but I do love night driving. I think the radio show I used to listen to was Bill Nory? It was kinda weird talk radio but entertaining. XM is great too. I hated channel surfing all the time.

I was wondering how the whole night driving thing was working out with the new HOS laws about 2 periods of 1 till 5. I preffer day driving but wouldn't that new law mess up the night drivers schedule? or make them have to take a longer than 34 hr reset?

Oh yeah and I like my windshield wippers to be functioning properly as much as possible. lmao
