Then we can fight over who has better informational ''views'' and ''perceptions'' and who is more ''responsable''....Politics never ends, does it..

I guy that used to work at the company I'm at got caught in the ole' Georgia Overdrive. He was coming down Texas Canyon (I-10) and the EOBR clocked him at 90+ MPH with RPM's around 500. At first the company couldn't figure out how this was done but it didn't take them long. He was terminated the same day. BTW it was a load of liquid oxygen. Yes you can do this, you can also tailgate a truck in front of you (get right on his #####!) This will also save fuel. It seems like I see this everyday. I wonder what goes through a driver's mind at times? It's true that there are no stupid questions but.....if you have a CDL you should know that this is incredibly dangerous. A CDL mill teaches the dangers of being in the right gear before coming down a hill. You must have been asleep for that part of the class. That is unfortunate.

E-LOGS and EOBR'S are Incredibly Stupid too.But they still use them things and LOVE THEM...

I agree they are stupid and no I don't "love them".landstar8891 Thanks this.

Learn something new every day.... thanks for the info. Sounds kinda risky having the tranny disconnect automatically but reconnects when you get to engine brake speed. Maybe someday I'll figure that out.
-
Yes you do.Your an E-LOG Supporter wearing you Hillary Hat and Pelosi Panties. You have LaHood and Ferro tatooed on your forearm .Your wearing your Obama Pins and waving a ''rainbow'' flag..And you have Purple hair and 39 darts in your face trying to convince the world, your ''normal and sane''.....

More information = good, fight-no. It would be an improvement but I will leave the politics and religion at home.

rick, sounds dangerous and can be i guess , i drive local mostly 60 mph zones and i set my cruise at 55 mph and then i set my jake at 63 mph that gives me a 8 mph coasting range so my average mph is usally around 57 mph. my mpg with this truck is always 7.4 or better. the best i did with it for the mo of 8-2012 8.84 with 5850 miles traveled, which was an exceptional mo. using this eco roll system one aquires a keen sense of depth and speed perception that through experiance a driver can learn grade, distances and how far you can safely push it. also their are ways to trick the ecoroll system so you can coast whenever you want to, which also helps wirh fuel economy. happy trailsRick_C Thanks this.
