Running With Schneider!

I understand should get email first of week.. If I understand it correctly the interest rate is the same no matter what length you run it but don't hold me to it

 

So your making what about or close to $3000 a week?

I got a call yesterday from Schneider Finance saying that I was approved. They told me to pick any truck I want from Schneider's inventory. I've decided to go with a 2014 Cascadia Evolution, even though I'd like to have a Lonestar. But they don't have any of those to offer. This move going Owner Operator is a big move for me, only been a Company Driver for 2+ years. I'm interested in trying out the Pick Your Own Freight Program, but I don't hear you all talking about that program on here, it's mostly the Choice Program. I'm signed up for the Choice Program. I'd like to hear from you all that have more experience in this, which is best for Newbie to start with?

 

Have you only been with Schneider? I see you are in Cali as well. Did you run regional or OTR for them? Where you out of Fontana? I am really thinking about Schneider. Any info you can provide will help. Good Luck with your new truck!

 

I'm not with Schneider yet. I'm currently with Werner Enterprises as a Company Driver on the I-5 designated lane, which pays .24 CPM + .04 CPM Safety Bonus. Im getting an average of 1600-1800 miles a week. The pay isn't that great. It's enough only to pay food expenses.

 

When and where are you going to orientation?

 

Well Andrea from Schneider recruiting told me that orientation is in Green Bay, Wisconsin. First tomorrow Friday I gotta let Schneider Finance know what truck I want, I'd like to go for White Or Platinum, hopefully a 12 speed or 13 speed OD Manual Transmission.
