I'm still having problem with the ac in the sleeper of my 379 pete blower works but no cold air system full of freon. Any idea ???

the bunk expand. valve does it fill warm or hot on one side and cold on the other side if not it maybe stuck open. Need to know things like pressure readings, is the hot water valve shutting off the water. Peterbilts do not like to much oil had to be just right! To much "stuff" on the coils heat and a/c

thanks for the info seadog I did cut off the water which expansion valve are you talking about the one on firewall or the one in the sleeper??
-
The one in the sleeper. trying to recall the system not worked on one in awhile!
-
The system in the back has a evaporator and a expansion valve mounted under the bunk with to lines running from the expansion valve on the firewall
-
With the truck running a/c on are the lines at the compressor different temps? then the lines at the cab expansion valve different temps? then the lines at the sleeper expansion valve different temps? One should be very cold the other warm to hot. With gauges on and the truck running where the gauge needles smooth or bouncing around? bouncing means lines stopped up some where? How much Freon did you put in the unit? what is the red gauge pressure reading just before the engine fan comes on?

Well I worked on the ac today still no ac in the sleeper I put a new expansion valve, both new lines, and recharged the system. Two weeks ago I put a new compressor, dryer, and thermostat air is working good in cab.The only thing I can see that is left is the switch or a relay if there is one?????

Is the fan working in the bunk? on all speeds or any
