Whew.. my cascadia idles and trust me.. I idle like no ones buisness. Frank hasnt said much about my high long idle but I just finished my first 31 days here. With 4 days off one week plus all weekends off.. I managed 9500 miles for the month. I could have gotten 10k if not for a few crappy detention times and that kidney stone time.
Whats your 20, interstate drivers?

Thank you very much! My wife and I are okay for now, one of my sisters has already come out with my Mom and my other Sis soon to on their way. She lost her non smoking husband to lung cancer 6 years ago so sad to say she knows the drill. I hope your family members win their battles.Dark_Majesty_06 Thanks this. -
Well pooh.. My weekend was going great and then we got home last night. While my wife was getting me son unstrapped from the seat.. she slipped out of her sandal and fell right on her ankle. Busted it up pretty bad... took her on to the doc this morning since it ballooned up like a water Mellon. Doc said it is severely bruised and had some build up.. so I had to call my dm and break the news. He was super cool about it and let me drop it up in st louis today.. and take the week off. Bad for my bank but good for my wife.. she kinda moved with me to this new place.. so no family or anyone around to help her out. Bless her heart.. we have a 11 month old and shes 5 months pregnant again.. lol.
So it looks like im on honey do duty this week! -
Sitting in denver, was here for hometime and was supposed to get APU checked out while it was in the yard. My next load doesn't pick up until tomorrow morning, heading to OK i think but that might be changing. They're checking out the apu now, from what I was told anyway so hopefully I'll have AC working... i dont know how you people without apu's do it. I mean my last company didnt have any at all but I could bypass the idle lol
edit: speak of the devil... my FM called, telling me they're working me back to lebanon to pick up a 2014 freightliner... goodbye apu

Arent all the 2014 cascadias the baby ones with no fridge and a single bed?
-
oh hell no! I don't know... but I guess I'm gonna find out... the bed I don't care about since I plan on being home more so Ill actually use the cabinets, which if it is the baby one those things are like half the size. not having a fridge however, is gonna suck big time
-
Yeah, guys who got a almost brand new cascadia in orientation got the baby ones that werent equipped with a fridge or load suspensiom gauge. You need to tell em you guys if theyll force you, just throw ya in to a new kw.
-
after that first batch i havent seen any new KW's come thru, not lebanon anyway. once that lot was gone I havent seen any more
