New To The Board

Hello. I'm a newbie to the board but an experienced driver of over 10 years . But im tired of these companies and all the new DOT regulations, been thinking of becoming an owner operator. Im goin to purchase my 1st truck cash. But I would appreciate you guys insight on the things I will need (permits,insurannce,authority,etc..) to operate here in Atlanta. Im new to the whole o/o thing so it will be greatly appreciated if someone can walk me through the steps I need to follow after I purchase my truck. Thanks in advance.
