I am a hourly wage truck driver, i work 6 days a week with the opportunity of getting 84 hrs on a weekly paycheck. But with new 30min daily break and the 82hrs going to 70. Would i be in violation if i got 84 hrs on paycheck. I reset every Monday evening and start back Wednesday.

Your company can pay you whatever they wish. FMCSA does not determine your pay.

He gave himself the answer.
He drives so, he cannot exceed the hours that are available to us for the week.
He drives local so he has to have a documentation for the break as well.
If he can get the company to pay him for 84 hours then more power to him. But, the pay records have to support his driving time. The pay for non driving is not limited. -
You figure if you are gone 5 days and nights, you are gone 120 hours...so you could earn up to that much as long as you dont drive over 70 hrs.

sounds like he's a local driver. in which case he would be on the 60 clock. not the 70.
least, i was never allowed 70 when i ran local by the hour. -
And also he can't "drive " 60 hours . Time is needed for inspections , fueling , etc. .
Local operations can use the 70/8 if they operate 7 days a week . -
Im local driver work Wed. Thru Monday evening off Tues for 34hr reset. I can get up to 70hrs by time its time to clock out Monday evening.
