Not true. The instructor is just trying to funnel the students into a select few companies that recruit from that school. Some of the best companies to work for, don't even recruit from CDL schools, but they will hire new CDL graduates.

That is a big warning sign right there that your company is disreputable. I'd start looking around for sure.

For the Company I work for I have 3 accidents one of which im contesting because the batwing had always been slanted in i just never knew it was damaged according to them. But i pulled my fmsca record and have 0 accidents, so when applying for other trucking jobs will they go by fmsca record of accidents or my companies. Accidents are driving bobtail under low underpass broke exhaust pipe, backing up and hitting yellow concrete post damaging passenger side step. And damaged batwings which im contesting.

It sounds like these aren't DOT reportable accidents so they probably won't show up on any reports in regards to you. However, when a company sends out an employment verification to your current company, they may put your accidents on there. It's best to be up front and honest about those accidents with any future employers that way they know what to expect when they get the employment verifications back.

It also sounds like your not reading the original post. This has nothing to do with accidents at all. He was simply asking if it was OK to apply for another job while working for a different company.
