My guess is if you can pass their pre-hire physical, you'll be fine?

Guitar Man im hoping so. My BP is normal sometimes and high sometimes I asked my doctor to prescribe me pills so that it would be normal for the DOT physical. As far as my knee i can do anything on it but i do have a scar

Just to make sure you're good...get a written note from the doctor who performed the surgery stating that you're good to go with no restrictions, that way there's no doubt on tmc's part about your ability.

Flatbedding is hard work, why jeopardize your knee surgery. Is it really worth it?Your BP won't be an issue as long as your medicine is working. Many drivers have high BP an on medicine to controll it.I for one am on bp medicine.

    spydablactrucking and mje Thank this.

I can still do things i normally did before the surgery except when I run at a dead sprint it bothers a little but I dont see doing anything flatbed wise would be a factor?

I did flatbedding with a total knee replacement. It can be done. Hardest part was getting on and off of the trailer, IMHO. What patty is saying is you do have options, and easier ones at that....Up to you!!
