New RE-START rule really sucks...

Usually work Sunday through Wednesday. Taking the 34 on Wednesday afternoon.
This week I ran Saturday to Monday. Got off duty Monday night at 8 pm. Did not get to the 34 until Wednesday at 2:30 almost 34 hours later, I get to start the 34.

 

if you start your reset after 7pm but before midnight youll only wait 34 hrs

 

Yeah, but when you run on re-cap you will pick up those hours that you worked before your days off.

 

Already had a reset under the 168 rule so had to wait for it to hit again.

 

My boss is a real jerk....

He won't let us run a 34 hour reset. Keeps mumbling about they never had it 20 years ago, why use it now. Recap does just fine.

 

My boss was that way too.

But, after I pointed out that the truck was paid for and everything, he backed off and became more lenient.

 

My head is spinning,NOW I'm really corn fused! Thought I had it,now not so much. I think I'd rather invest in an elog to do it for me!
