That's is why the rates are low. And I bet J.B. Hunt amounts for over half of that.

I doubt half . US. Xpress and Schneider have a pretty good chunk . I see the biggest increase was in Petroleum products . Probably a lot of that is ethanol .

Why do you think Intermodal is increasing in transport volume? I'm still a newbie but I work for a intermodal company

JB Hunt is the largest intermodal company in the world. I doubt US Xpress and Schneider can even come close

APL& Hyundai is slowly phasing out. J.b. Hunt has their own chassis and more containers than Schneider, Us Xpress, UPS, and most steam ship lines.
I run intermodal and now and it's too many drivers and companies in it. -

Those statistics are for 53 footers only. I know J.B. Hunt has more freight than they can pull because The company I'm leases to pulls alot loads for them and U.P.S.

That's not entirely true driver. You may pull some loads for them because the particular lane your in is not profitable for them to operate in............there are beans with every steak and large shippers make you eat it all. If you want my A freight then you have to take my B freight and so on..........

I see what you're saying but my dispatch says we get all that J.B. hunt doesn't dispatch their drivers. It's Atlanta so they have a lot of trucks and drivers here.
