GREAT JOB! Looks like we are both in line to start RDTC. I am looking at August 5th now but possibly the 12th. I am sure I will see you there even if we start on different Mondays.

 

I am not sure about the 29th being full. I just mailed my contracts back to Roehl and they are waiting to receive the long forms of the DOT they sent me to. My recruiter said she should have it back this week sometime and then we can set a date.

 

Just finalized everything with my recruiter. I will be starting August 12th and going into the Reefer 7/7 fleet out of Mogadore OH. I am sure I will see you there CSambo85. I spoke with other past graduates and they said you will see the classes that started before and after you while in Marshfield. You should be able to get the 29th still.

 

Good luck to all of you getting your permits. It's not as intimidating as it may seem. I studied for 2 days and took general knowledge, combination, air brakes, doubles/triples, and tankers all in one shot. It took about 20-25 minutes to take all of them. Since I live in IL, I couldn't go to Roehl's driving school. I am, however, in the final stages with setting up a date to start my training with them. My recruiter has one more employer to get a hold of then I should start orientation on the 15th. As for your training, I have two pieces of HUGE advice. When you start the driving/range portion of your training, LISTEN to your instructor, and DO WHAT THEY TELL YOU TO DO!! I was one of three that passed all my state tests in 1 try. I watched as 5 people failed for stupid little mistakes that they should not have made. Good luck people!!

 

I am leaving August 9th heading to Marshfield WI. If anyone needs a ride I will be driving from the Cleveland OH area and back after RDTC before heading out with my trainer for up to 13 days.
