Is there ASSISTANCE for our DRIVERS when:

This may be a subject that just isn't brought up, but I have a SINCERE ?

When an accident takes place, is there a program and people "Immediately" brought in for the "Driver(s)" ?

My heart goes out to our "Driver's" when it was not their fault and out of their control.

 

This is a SINCERE question coming from me.
I would appreciate some responce , all those views , and NADA!

The mind is a powerful organ to waste!
Humans have issues and if they take their issues out on the road , poop can happen.
It takes a SPECIAL BREED OF CAT to drive OTR, I know this.
But an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!


I will get real serious now!

I have know men who have faced the stresses of their jobs and watched them FALL flat on there faces , deal with it , get back up and try again.
They have my outmost RESPECT!
I have seen some of my men friends and family members face the stresses of their jobs and watched them fall.
They are 6 ' under!

If you are concerned about someone out there OTR and your not quite sure how to handle something that is going wrong in their life , and its their , plain as the nose on your face , if they don't HEAR your concerns?

What does one do NEXT!

Contact there fellow trucking Friends, Family, or the Truck Comp ?


I am the last person to make waves , I don't do drama well.

But I won't sit back and do nothing.

Has that happened to you ?

The safety factor is what has my attention, a possible useage of stimulants. Mix those with a person who has a "short fuse" , oh my!

A Big Rig and a Wired Mind , and shutting your self down literally almost like a robot.

I will share the info you gave me with several family members who have asked me for help and then I am going to look into this program and see what I can learn.

I felt so bad for them and I didn't know what to do.

That is me at this point , What kind of Program , and I can't afford to be Confused!

I see the Trucking Industry as a Tight Knit World, very protective of themselves, in the wrong department.
Hopefully the Good out weight the Bad.

The world I make my living in is also this way.

When it comes down to it the brunt may fall on the owners of the Trucking Companies and Insurance monies come into play, and its usually the employee's fault ( or Blame is laid on them) < Because of such a high turnover in drivers , its like they are treated like a commodity, like a can of soup, open it up add milk or water ( depending on how much "Enrichness of quality you put into your employees") mix it up, heat it up, serve it, eat it , poop it out! and then throw the empty can along side a road.> If this is cold and hard , well , its out there and its going on.

Thank goodness there are more Good folks out there looking out and lending a helping hand to someone in trouble, pain (mentally and or Physically).

I am an adult and a only child so dealing with these kinds of issues, I have always had to deal with it and take care of business .

When there are sibs involved and close relatives , that can be helpful.

Reaching out to help someone can BACK FIRE!

I don't do drama and I don't feel that I should contact the parents of and adult (their child) or the Company they work for, unless there is absolute proof of something going wrong.

I am not qualified to step up and try to help somebody in this department.

I have found the web of the Life Works program and I will contact them and ask some questions.

What else CAN I DO.

If someone asks me for help, I will or would help them.

I see that we missed sharing a "Happy Birthday" greeting to you on the 22nd of this past January.
I have instilled this in my daughter , Every day is your Birthday, hug yourself and hug someone else!

I also read in your profile that you have been driving for 7 yrs, you go girl.

I have a ? to ask of you, do you have curtains in your sleeper you know us gals got have a Feminine touch to our "Rigs" !

Do you notice that the fella's have names for their "Rigs" ?

Do you cover the US or just certain area's?

Do Trucking Companies have Programs for their employees / families , if a problem arises?

When I drove City Bus, there were "Checkers" riding as passengers, and you never knew who or when.
This was designed to "View there drivers" on how they were handling their responsibilities out there.
I have seen this program , work for the better actually and there are some great caring folk out there !
